Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

Bushra Zia

The Dashwood family is left destitute by their father’s death. The story is about the  Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne as they go through complex relationships with their beaus.  Elinor is the mature sister, portraying “sense” and Marianne is the hopelessly romantic girl, portraying “sensibility” of this romance.

Sense and Sensibility is a diluted version of Jane Austen’s masterpiece, Pride and Prejudice.
